The possibilities are endless with rope work, and this opportunity for creativity is why we love it

But we can seperate this into a few ‘families’ of project types to help you navigate the world of nets

Outdoor nets

The classic tree net. And there are two main types. The most famous is when built between existing trees, and possible on one level or multiple. Opening up a whole new world of possibilities in your garden or land. The other is using wooden structures to build space for the net to sit between – for example, next to a jacuzzi to offer a sun lounging and apero spot – or as a star gazing platform at the end of the garden to watch sunsets and the night sky together.

Indoor nets

Using type 316 stainless steel lags (minimum width 12mm) at 30cm intervals, and installed by certified French registered carpenters, we create elevated platforms in your house. These beautiful, but most importantly very strong platforms, then allow us to position and weave our nets to the structure of the house. Whether it’s a floating cinema room, a reading area, an apero platform, or a simple chill area in a childs bedroom, they offer fantastic opportunities to create new space in your home.

Decorative weaving

Used either as art in homes between open spaces, or often incorporated to make shade under Gazebos/Pagolas, or to make areas safe such as on balconies either inside or out, these can be designed to any colour or pattern preference to make new ways to break up space. Many clients have also used these in place of traditional balustrades, to offer a more interesting look, which doesn’t block light like other materials such as wood, while not compromising on safety.

Custom builds and furniture

Whether it’s a hammock, a custom made bench/lounging spot, or a net chair on a balcony, these offer aesthetic and comfortable ways to sit, lounge and rest. 100% customizable, so add drink holders, or go crazy on patterns – the world is your oyster! And many projects don’t fall into exact categorisation – so tell us what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll have lots of ideas on how we can help.
